Talk on two mini-topics: A remedy for mega-constellations of AI data centers on orbit, and a look at the remarkable diversty of dwarf planets in the Kuiper Belt Abstract: After a brief introduction to my career, I will discuss two topics. The first topic will center on a new proposed policy approach for astronomy to remedy the growing foreground clutter of satellite constellations. The second topic will demonstrate the remarkable and unexpected heterogeneity of dwarf planets in our solar system. Following this I will speculate on potential reasons, and will then conclude with a look toward how our solar system’s dwarf planets may be a guidepost to what may be discovered regarding dwarf planets in others planetary systems across the galaxy.
